Description
Avodart contains dutasteride 0.5 mg, a dual 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor that gradually shrinks an enlarged prostate.
Uses
- Treats benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)
- Improves urinary flow and reduces the need for prostate surgery
How to Use
Take one capsule once daily, swallowed whole. Full effect develops over 3-6 months.
Important
Women who are or may be pregnant must not handle leaking capsules. Do not donate blood during and for 6 months after treatment. Affects PSA readings – inform your doctor. Prescription medicine – use only under a doctor’s direction.
