How to Use

Slide the floss gently between the teeth, curving against each tooth surface, then rinse or discard.

Important

Brushing cleans about 60% of the tooth surfaces – the areas between the teeth, where most decay and gum disease start, are only reached by flossing or interdental cleaning. Bleeding in the first few days of flossing usually means inflammation, not injury, and settles with consistent use. Floss picks are easier but do not curve around the tooth as well as string floss – either is far better than not cleaning between the teeth at all.
