Description
Hartmann Grassolind Neutral Paraffin Gauze Dressing 5 x 5 cm (10 pcs) is a paraffin-impregnated gauze that will not stick to the wound.
Uses
- Does not stick to the wound, so dressing changes are painless
- Used on burns, grazes, donor sites and skin tears
- Allows exudate through to an absorbent secondary dressing
How to Use
Apply directly over the clean wound, then cover with an absorbent dressing and secure.
Important
Paraffin gauze needs an absorbent secondary dressing on top – it is a wound contact layer, not a complete dressing. Change the dressing when it becomes wet or soiled. Seek medical care for deep wounds, wounds that will not stop bleeding, animal or human bites, or any wound showing spreading redness, increasing pain, swelling or discharge. Check tetanus cover for dirty or puncture wounds.
