Rybelsus 14 mg contains oral semaglutide from the original formulation and is a prescription maintenance strength for adults with type 2 diabetes after at least 30 days on 7 mg when further control is needed. Take one tablet on an empty stomach after waking with no more than 120 ml of plain water, then wait at least 30 minutes before anything else by mouth. Do not substitute it milligram-for-milligram with the newer 9 mg formulation; severe persistent abdominal pain needs urgent care.

How to Use

Take on an empty stomach first thing in the morning with no more than half a glass of plain water, then wait at least 30 minutes before eating, drinking or taking other medicines.

Important

The waiting rules are essential – taking it with food or other drinks prevents absorption. Nausea is common initially. Not for type 1 diabetes. Prescription medicine – use only under a doctor’s direction.
