Description
Zoxta 80 mg contains febuxostat, a xanthine oxidase inhibitor.
Uses
- Lowers persistently elevated uric-acid levels in chronic gout when the lower strength is insufficient
How to Use
Use only as prescribed. It may be taken with or without food.
Important
It is not a painkiller for immediate relief of an acute gout attack. Uric acid and liver function may require monitoring; cardiovascular history should be reviewed by the prescriber.
