Description
Diclofast is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine used for painful inflammatory conditions, including joint and muscle disorders. It can reduce pain and swelling, but does not suit everyone. Use the lowest effective prescribed dose for the shortest necessary time.
How to use
The usual adult total in the leaflet is 75–150mg daily, divided into 2 or 3 doses; the prescriber selects the regimen. Swallow tablets whole with water, with or after food. Do not crush or chew, and do not self-increase the dose.
Important information
Do not use with a current or previous stomach ulcer/bleeding, NSAID allergy, severe heart/kidney/liver disease, established cardiovascular disease or in the last trimester of pregnancy. Do not combine with ibuprofen or other NSAIDs. Seek urgent help for vomiting blood or black stools.
