Description
Panadrex Drops contain 100mg paracetamol in each 1ml. This concentrated strength differs from common children’s syrups, so the volume must be calculated using the child’s current weight and measured accurately.
How to use
Give 10–15mg/kg per dose, equal to 0.10–0.15ml/kg of this 100mg/ml product. Leave at least 4 hours between doses. Maximum 4 doses and 60mg/kg in 24 hours. Use a calibrated oral syringe; do not count unmeasured drops. Confirm the child-specific volume with the pharmacist.
Important information
Do not combine with other paracetamol medicines. For an infant under 3 months, seek medical advice before use. Do not continue beyond 3 days without advice. Suspected overdose requires immediate medical help, even if the child appears well.
