Hidrasec CHD 30 mg 16 sachets contains racecadotril granules for short-term treatment of acute diarrhoea in children, used together with oral rehydration and appropriate feeding. The strength and dose are selected according to the child’s weight. It must not replace fluids, and blood in the stool, fever, repeated vomiting, dehydration or persistent diarrhoea requires medical assessment.
