Lactrase provides the enzyme lactase, which breaks down lactose (milk sugar) that the body cannot digest in lactose intolerance.

Take with the first bite of a dairy-containing meal, adjusting the number of tablets to the amount of lactose.

The enzyme only works on the meal it is taken with – it must be repeated with each dairy meal. It does not treat milk protein allergy.
